Lanarkshire Meet the Buyer

Jointly hosted by North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire Councils, and supported by Supplier Development Programme, the Lanarkshire Meet the “Real” Buyer event will take place on Wednesday, 22 February 2023 at the Banqueting Hall at the South Lanarkshire Council Headquarters, Hamilton.

What is a 'real' buyer?

Real buyers are leading contractors and local authority services that commission the actual work that becomes a contract or framework opportunity for a buying authority.

North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council have 'real' buyers in departments such as transportation, education and learning, social work, and more. This pan-Lanarkshire event gives local businesses of any size open access to these 'real' buyers at both Lanarkshire local authorities that commission the actual work that are published as contracts via the Public Contracts Scotland website. This is an ideal opportunity to network, introduce products and services, and speak 1-2-1 about these upcoming contracts that businesses can bid for in the future.

Who can attend the event?

All Scottish SMEs are welcome to attend, however, this Meet the "Real" Buyer event will be of particular interest to businesses based in Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas.

Non-SME suppliers are also eligible to attend and must register an account with SDP to book a place.
