Meet the Education Zone Buyers

Meet the Buyer 2024, on Wednesday 5 June at Hampden Park, Glasgow, is set to play host to the first ever Education Zone, sponsored by Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) and Glasgow Caledonian University. 

Meet the Zone Sponsors

The Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) is the procurement centre of expertise for Scotland's universities and colleges. APUC's vision is to maximise the value of Scotland's investment in further and higher education by working in partnership with institutions to support and enable sustainable innovation in procurement and shared service optimisation.

Working in collaboration with APUC, Glasgow Caledonian University looks to utilise existing agreements. Glasgow Caledonian University's procurement team is responsible for maximising the contribution that procurement makes to the University’s expenditure in teaching and research so that the University can deliver more with the funds that they have available. 

Meet the Exhibitors

Alongside buyers from APUC and Glasgow Caledonian University, Scottish Qualifications Authority's procurement team will also be exhibiting to engage with businesses of all sizes, including third sector organisations and social enterprises. Furthermore, representatives from the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP), the largest academic energy research partnership in Europe, will be present on the day.
