New Construction Manual Published by Scottish Government

New guidance is available to assist contracting authorities to successfully deliver construction projects.  It is intended for all contracting authority staff involved in the planning and delivery of public works projects.  The note publishes the project initiation and business case handbook (handbook one) of the construction manual.   To read more, visit the Scottish Procurement and Commercial Directorate website.

 

A Construction Policy Note (CPN) was also published on 3 June 2019 that provides advance publication of Chapter 15: Design of the project initiation and business case handbook. This is handbook one and forms part of the new construction manual.  It includes guidance on business cases, stakeholder engagement and risk.
