New waste regulations for Scottish businesses
Posted on 18 November 2015 at 14:05
The Waste (Scotland) Regulations are in effect. All organisations, big or small, should be recycling their plastic, metal, glass, paper and card or risk a fine. From 1 January 2016 macerators are banned and urban food businesses (such as cafés, restaurants & other premises preparing or selling food) producing over 5kg of waste weekly will need to recycle food waste too.
