Perth & Kinross Council has launched a new website to inform its residents of climate change action across Perth & Kinross.

The website allows people to share their experiences and ideas between groups and encourages others to get involved in climate action. It also provides a place to celebrate the valuable work being undertaken by communities in Perth & Kinross to tackle climate change.

On the website, you can view the Council Climate Strategy and Action Plan and its Community Projects and Groups map, which captures examples of climate change action across Perth & Kinross.

The Council built the website following requests from residents for a central source of trusted and knowledgeable climate action advice for residents, businesses, and visitors. Residents of Perth and Kinross can access useful resources and guidance on how to take action at home, work, and school.

Perth & Kinross Council leader, Councillor Murray Lyle, said:

“We are committed to doing all we can to tackle the climate emergency. This website will help our communities see what action is being taken and supports residents to make sure they are playing their part too.”
