Will you help Skanska Build for a Better Society?

Skanska is a major project development and construction group. In short, Skanska aims to create sustainable solutions and be a leader in quality, green construction, work safety and business ethics. To connect with Scottish-based SMEs and supported businesses, as well as the wider business base of suppliers, Skanska is holding a Supplier Engagement Event at Heriot-Watt University on Wednesday, 20 November 2019.

As Skanska continues to develop its business in Scotland and with some huge potential projects on the horizon, wishes to engage and expand its supply chain at this Supplier Engagement Event. The event will be held in the GRID Building from 2:30pm.

Skanska is particularly interested in companies that deliver:

• Hard FM, such as heating, lighting, plumbing, fire safety systems, air conditioning, building maintenance, etc.;
• Statutory compliance in areas such as fire, electrical, gas, water, and air conditioning; and
• Building fabric works, such as structural materials, cladding, insulation, finishes, etc. for the interior of a building, and general trades for roofing, external walls, windows and doors.

The team is also keen to talk to companies with service offerings that complement their own. The Supplier Development Programme is promoting this event to encourage Scottish-based SMEs and supported businesses in the sector to attend.
