Ayrshire Meet the Buyer logos

East Ayrshire Council, North Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council, in partnership with the Supplier Development Programme, will host a pan-Ayrshire ‘Meet the Buyer' event online on Wednesday, 28 April 2021.

Ayrshire businesses will be able to meet procurement teams from the three Ayrshire councils, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, with new buyers still being confirmed.

This is not just another Zoom meeting, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams Meeting - there will be a main agenda with speakers throughout the day on wide-ranging topics such as the Ayrshire Growth Deal, Quick Quotes with all three Ayrshire Council procurement staff available to answer questions in a live Q&A, and top tips for tendering from the Supplier Development Programme. You'll also be able to virtually visit exhibition stands, download information and speak directly on a one-to-one basis with buyers via in-built video conferencing.

This year's Meet the Buyer event aims to help local businesses find out what contract opportunities are available both within the three councils and further afield, across a range of sectors. Participants will explore how to do business with public sector buyers and gain an operational understanding of how to become part of supply chains.
