Supplier Opportunity: Falkirk Council and Management of Waste Containers

Falkirk Council will be going out to the marketplace in early winter with a contract opportunity for the management and delivery (not supply) of waste containers and sacks to council area households and commercial premises on an 'as is' required basis.

The contract will be for delivering bins (not supplying them) to households and businesses in the Falkirk area. In addition, the contract involves the management of the stock and repair and cleaning of the bins for re-issue to local households.

Gillian Cameron, SDP Programme Manager, said: "As Falkirk Council is a member of the Supplier Development Programme, we want to support the efforts to ensure the local supplier market is aware of this contract opportunity, as it could definitely suit a small local supplier.
