#SupplierOpp with Tayside Procurement Consortium

Tayside Procurement Consortium

The Tayside Procurement Consortium (a shared Procurement Service for Angus, Dundee City, and Perth & Kinross Councils) has published a Prior Information Notice (PIN) on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) for its upcoming Framework for Roads Maintenance Services (Works).

The Roads Maintenance Services (Works) will be purchased by Angus, Dundee City, and Perth and Kinross Roads Partnership and Tayside Contracts. A Purchasing Framework is to be established and Contractors will be invited to submit a bid. Successful bidders will receive a place on the Framework.

The Framework will be divided into Lots, the Lots are as follows

  • Lot 1 – Provision of Roads Maintenance Services
  • Lot 2 – Provision of Roads Maintenance Services

There will be 16 Lots in total, please refer to the Draft Specification of Requirement Document attached to the PIN.

The tender notice will be published in June 2022.

Support from the Supplier Development Programme

The Supplier Development Programme is working in partnership with the Tayside Procurement Consortium, to help SMEs, Supported Businesses and Third Sector organisations get ‘tender ready’ for this opportunity.

Two webinar events are being held for the purposes of giving information which will allow prospective bidders to prepare for and complete this tender. Both events should be attended. The first event gives information about the Roads Maintenance Services tender opportunity and what prospective bidders should do to prepare, the timeline and what submitting a tender involves for prospective bidders etc.

The second webinar event will be a training session, hosted by one of SDP's expert trainers and will cover the tender process of accessing the Purchasing Frameworks for Roads Maintenance Services tender documents and how to submit a bid via the Public Contracts Scotland Tender (portal).

Please note: If you are interested in bidding on this Framework, it is vital that you attend both sessions.

Next Steps

If not already done so, suppliers should register their interest on Tayside Procurement Consortium’s Prior Information Notice (PIN) on the Public Contracts Scotland website. Also, please ensure you book your free place for the first event on 21 April and the follow-up event on 7 June via the SDP website.
