Registers of Scotland

The Registers of Scotland (RoS) are a non-ministerial office of the Scottish Government responsible for compiling and maintaining records relating to property, in particular the Land Register of Scotland and The General Register of Sasines (the oldest national public land register in the world, dating back to 1617).

While we fully support the Supplier Development Programme, the nature and size of our organisation means much of our procurement is reactive and our procurement department make heavy use of Crown Commercial Service and Scottish Government Frameworks. Going forward we hope to position ourselves to try and make more opportunities suitable for wider engagement.

More information about RoS can be found: https://www.ros.gov.uk/about/what-we-do

Supplying Registers of Scotland

The first and most important step is to Register on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS)

We advertise all requirements over £50k on PCS, (except framework call-offs).

Quotes between £5000 and £50k use the PCS Quick Quote facility, which requires organisations to be invited to quote; meaning only organisations which are registered on PCS can be invited.
