What can suppliers expect from the UK Department for Transport at the Meet the Buyer 2023 event on 17 May?

The UK Department for Transport (DfT) is one of the headline partners of this years Meet the Buyer event and wants to meet and engage with the Scottish business base! This provides a unique opportunity for Scottish suppliers to meet the actual buyers from DFT and its agencies in Scotland, learn how to bid for DfT and find out about up-and-coming DfT contract opportunities in 2023/2024.

At this year's Meet the Buyer event, suppliers can visit a DfT zone that is fully dedicated to transport-related exhibitions. This zone will also feature an entire stage with panel discussions and exciting speakers!

The Department for Transport works with its agencies and partners to support the transport network that helps the UK's businesses and gets people and goods travelling around the country. To enable this, the UK Department for Transport plans and invests in transport infrastructure to keep the UK on the move. Scottish businesses of all sizes are needed to bid for upcoming contracts and opportunities, and to engage with supply chain opportunities - so visiting the DfT zone could result in finding a new way to build your business within the sector.
