The Supplier Development Programme has announced the agenda for Meet the Buyer North 2026, which will take place on 3 September, at The Music Hall in Aberdeen. 

Agenda:

11am: Welcome from Scottish Government

• Delivered by Nick Ford, Director of Procurement and Property at Scottish Government.

11:10am: Scottish Government Session

• Delivered by Lisa Goldie, Head of Construction Procurement Policy at Scottish Government.

11:30am: Commercial and Procurement Shared Services Session

• Presentation by Mel Mackenzie, Strategic Commercial Manager at Commercial and Procurement Shared Services.

11:50am: Scotland Excel Session

• Presentation by Laura Muir, Strategic Procurement Manager and Scotland Excel

12:15pm: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Session

• Speaker TBC

12:40pm: NHS Session 

• Speaker TBC

1Pm: Supplier Development Programme: The tender ready checklist 

• Workshop by SDP’s Expert Trainer

The keynote agenda will take place in the presentation zone, on the stage in the main hall. Headphones will be available in the area for those struggling to hear the speakers and throughout the venue for those that would like to listen in, while grabbing a tea or coffee. 

The main exhibition will be open to all registered attendees from 10am to 3pm.
