About the Supplier Development Programme (registered name Supplier Development Programme Ltd.)

The Supplier Development Programme is a local authority partnership programme delivered in conjunction with 32 Scottish local authorities with support from Scottish Government and other Scottish public bodies. In this Privacy Policy, we call these bodies and organisations “Delivery Partners”.

Different parts of the Supplier Development Programme are provided by different Delivery Partners under the “Supplier Development Programme” brand. For example, local Supplier Development Programme services are operated by or on behalf of the relevant local authority, whereas website maintenance and event planning is coordinated by the SDP National Team, Events and workshops may be provided by any Delivery Partner.

This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us in connection with the Supplier Development Programme website (this “Website”) will be processed.

This Website is operated by Supplier Development Programme Ltd. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act“), the data controller of this Website is Supplier Development Programme Ltd. Supplier Development Programme Ltd. acts as a data controller in common with the other Delivery Partners in relation to the provision of the Supplier Development Programme.

  • Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into (including without limitation, the delivery of the Supplier Development Programme service).
  • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of this Website.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that Supplier Development Programme Ltd (or the operation of this Website) is transferred to any other organisation(s), in which case we may disclose your personal data to that other organisation.

It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us, the other Delivery Partners or for one of our suppliers. We and the other Delivery Partners will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. If you would like to exercise your right of access in relation to information held by other Delivery Partners then you should say this when making your request to info@sdpscotland.co.uk.
