Aligned Tender Training: Clackmannanshire Council’s Nursery and Childminding Provision

In this practical Aligned Tender Training session, SDP’s expert trainer supports suppliers’ step by step through Public Contract Scotland (PCS), helping them access live contract opportunities, understand how to submit documents, and use the Q&A feature effectively. 

About the opportunity 

Clackmannanshire Council is tendering for Early Learning and Childcare partner providers including Early Learning Centres and Childminding Services to join their Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The Council wishes to appoint a number of Funded Provider Services to provide high quality early learning and childcare to’ eligible children’. The application includes the contractual arrangements which will govern the relationship where Funded Providers are successful in their bid. Individual establishments will be called upon as required by the Council.

In order to support businesses that have limited or no experience in bidding for a contract, we will be hosting a free tender training webinar to help you apply and bid for this contract opportunity.

The deadline to respond to the opportunity is 30/06/2026 at 12 noon.

What will the webinar cover 

During this online webinar, we will watch our expert walk you through the bidding process for this opportunity. We will demonstrate how to register and login to Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), how to find the contract notice and express interest. We then follow the buyer’s instructions verbatim, to access the tender documents and open all envelopes. We will spend time on questions that perhaps tripped bidders up in the past. We also demonstrate the Q&A functionality and how to upload evidence and response documents. Essentially the aim is for you as a bidder, watch our trainer going through the tendering process as a supplier in real-time, to ensure that you know what your next step will be.
