New Venue Announced for Fife Meet The Buyer 2025

Dunfermline City CampusThe annual Fife Meet The Buyer event has moved location for 2025; it will be held in the brand-new Dunfermline City Campus, on 6 November, from 9am-12:30pm.

The event, which Fife Council is running in partnership with the Supplier Development Programme, is one of the first to be held in the new Campus and promises to be a highlight of Fife Business Week.

Welcoming around 50 exhibitors from both the public and private sector, the event will include Fife Council, NHS Fife, Centre for Engineering Education and Development, FES Group, Hub East Central Scotland, Kilmac, Make UK Defence, Maxi Construction, Scotland Excel, Scottish Engineering, Scottish Renewables and more.

This year’s event will also see Fife Council’s Economic Development team launch Build Fife 2026, the award-winning programme for the construction sector.

As well as Economic Development, visitors can meet Fife Council’s Licencing and Trading Standards teams, as well as its Procurement colleagues, who will be ready to talk about the council’s pipeline of work.

Attendees can also discuss funding and training available to grow their organisations with the business support agencies on hand, including The Supplier Development Programme, Business Gateway Fife, Skills Development Scotland and Social Enterprise Scotland.

Further advice will be offered at Fife Meet The Buyer keynote sessions, which will include a Smarter Bidding with AI session by Gary Dhanda, as well as a Fife Council session on its upcoming opportunities.

Dot Smith, Enterprise & Business Development manager at Fife Council said: “This year’s event promises to be better than ever and we are excited to co-host Meet the Buyer Fife with SDP at Dunfermline City Campus.”

Fife College’s Dunfermline City Campus represents a once-in-a-generation investment in education for West Fife. As Scotland’s first net-zero-ready tertiary education building, the campus also represents a landmark in sustainable construction. The new Campus is an integrated project that brings together Fife College, St Columba’s RC High School, and Woodmill High School in a purpose-built, collaborative site.

Gillian Cameron, SDP Programme Manager added: “We can’t wait to welcome businesses of all sizes to Meet the Buyer Fife, and to showcase this state-of-the-art venue!

“If you are thinking of working with the public sector, please stop by the SDP stand to get some tips on tendering and to see how we can help you!”
