Free carbon report + funding for your business

Glasgow City Council is offering local SMEs a free Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Carbon Baseline Report — a simple first step towards cutting costs, improving sustainability, and strengthening your business.

 

Why it matters

Your carbon baseline gives you a clear picture of your energy use and emissions, helping you to:

• Strengthen your position when bidding for contracts, as carbon data is increasingly required in tenders
• Spot cost-saving opportunities
• Reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Build your sustainability strategy

Funding available

Once completed, you can apply for up to £10,000 through the Green Business Grant (covering 50% of eligible costs):

Funding can support upgrades like energy-efficient lighting, heating, insulation, and low-carbon equipment.
