Webinar

Scottish Government announced funding in August 2019 for qualified counsellors to be delivering counselling in schools for pupils aged over 10.  Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council agreed to proceeding on a Tayside wide basis, aligning with the development of a Tayside Mental Health strategy.

Tayside Procurement Consortium (a shared procurement service for Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council) will shortly be going out to tender for ‘Counselling Services in Schools’, for delivery of services from Autumn 2020 onwards.

In order to support businesses who may have never or have limited experience in bidding for a contract, we will be holding a training session to help you prepare to bid for the contract opportunity.

Providers do not have to be able to cover the whole of Tayside to be considered for the tender opportunity.  They will be able to advise which parts they can cover.

This event is aimed at both existing providers and new providers of counselling services to schools in Tayside.

During the session, representatives from Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council’s Education services, and Tayside Procurement Consortium will discuss the requirements for the tender, and the Supplier Development Programme (SDP) will provide free training on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) – the online portal which current and prospective providers need to be registered and Public Contracts Scotland – Tender (PCS-T), the online tendering portal where the tender will be managed.

Please register to attend the webinar from the comfort of your desk / home office – the joining instructions and Cisco WebEx link will be emailed to you the day before the event. To prepare, you can access SDP's top tips on how to join a webinar, or alternatively please email info@sdpscotland.co.uk if you have any further questions about the joining process.
