DSRL is the organisation responsible for the clean-up and decommissioning of the Dounreay fast breeder reactor research site on the north coast of Scotland. For more than 50 years it was known as the centre of the UK’s fast reactor research and development, and now its vision is to be recognised globally as a centre for decommissioning excellence.

The experimental nature of many of its redundant facilities means the clean up and demolition is complex and requires innovation and great care. The skills and enterprise it fosters are giving UK companies a platform to compete in the global decommissioning market.
