Meet the Buyer Tayside 2026

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) has published a report on Meet the Buyer Tayside, which took place on 3 March 2026, at the Innovation Hub at Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc, Dundee. Meet the Buyer Tayside was run by Dundee City Council and SDP, in partnership with the Angus and Perth and Kinross Councils.

This free event gave suppliers in Tayside access to buyers and decision makers from across the public and private sector, helping suppliers raise their profile as a business, and prepare for upcoming contract opportunities.

In total, 624 suppliers had pre-registered interest on the SDP website for Meet the Buyer Tayside. There were 290 actual attendees on the day. 184 of those attendees represented 130 Scottish SME unique businesses. 64 (49%) of those SMEs in attendance were based in the Tayside area; with 30 (23%) from Dundee, 16 (12%) from Angus and 18 (14%) from Perth & Kinross.
