Highland Council Seeks Catering Services Providers for Inverness Town House

The Highland Council is seeking suitable suppliers to join the Inverness Town House Catering framework. The Inverness Town House is the city’s hub for hosting various events including royal visits, weddings, conferences and private events.  

This framework’s duration is of 2 years and is anticipated to commence on 1^st October 2026.

The contract has been split into 4 Lots: 

• Lot 1: Formal Meals - The caterer must offer Formal Meals across three menu tiers (bronze, silver, and gold). Menus must have at least three seasonal meal options each. These meals will range in price, from a basic three course meal to the highest standard of local produce and presentation.

• Lot 2: Buffets - The supplier must provide a selection of bronze, silver, and gold categorised buffet items, with dietary options.

• Lot 3: Canapes - The supplier must provide a selection of bronze, silver, and gold categorised canapes, with dietary options.

• Lot 4: Drinks Service - The provision of a bar service is for staffing only and may be required at events. The bar will need to be staffed by suitably trained members of the team. The Highland Council will provide all stock and necessary equipment to provide a free and where necessary paid for bar.

Suppliers can submit tenders for one or more Lots. Each Lot will be evaluated separately.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Monday 17 August 2026 at 12 noon.

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), where interested parties can access additional information and express their interest.

The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £250k.
