Repair and Maintain Lifts and Escalators across Strathclyde Partnership for Transport’s Estate

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) LogoStrathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is looking for a suitably qualified supplier for the maintenance and repair of escalators and lifts throughout the SPT estate including all subway stations, bus stations and corporate offices.

SPT is seeking a maintenance provider that will assist it in maintaining its Escalator & Lift assets through modern asset management practices by:

  • Taking a Life cycle approach to maintaining the assets
  • Developing and delivering a cost-effective maintenance management strategy for the assets
  • Providing a defined level of service, quality and performance monitoring
  • Managing risk associated with asset failures
  • Utilisation of SPT Asset management system
  • The continued improvement of the management and operation of the assets

The contract will be for a minimum of five years with an option for a further two years at the sole discretion of SPT.

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), although interested parties will need to register with PCS-T to access additional information and express their interest.

A site visit may be available by request for this tendering exercise to allow tenderers access to view the site of the works. All requests should be made via PCS-Tender messaging.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Friday 23 October 2026 at 12 noon.
