Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) is inviting social care providers to attend a series of workshops on What Makes a Good Tender Response?

These practical sessions delivered by representatives of the Procurement Team are designed to help social care providers understand the tendering process and factors that can contribute to a strong tender submission.

Whether you are new to bidding, have been unsuccessful in previous tender exercises, or are looking to improve future submissions, this session is for you.

The workshop will help you to:

  • Understand the tender evaluation process
  • Understand how quality submissions are evaluated and scored and highlight common strengths and weaknesses in tender responses.
  • Respond effectively to quality questions

The workshop will cover:

  • Common areas where scores are lost
  • Mandatory requirements, selection and exclusion criteria
  • Tips for submitting tenders

Each workshop will cover the same content, so attendance at more than one session is not required. The sessions will not discuss any live or specific tender opportunities; instead, they will focus on the general principles of preparing bids and understanding how tenders are evaluated within GCHSCP.

Q&A documents will be shared to the Public Contracts Scotland Innovation Notice published as one of the routes to advertise these events.
