The City of Edinburgh Council: Supplier Engagement Event

Please Note: This event is now full. All bookings will be placed on a waiting list, and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to venue capacity, walk ins will not be accommodated. 

The City of Edinburgh Council, in partnership with The Supplier Development Programme (SDP), is inviting local SMEs and third sector organisations to its Supplier Engagement Event, on 14 November (9.00am-11.30am) at Waverley Court in Edinburgh.

This event aims to help local micro, small and supported businesses, as well as third sector organisations, become ‘tender ready’ by providing an opportunity to meet representatives from the Council, as well as a number of business support organisations.

With networking opportunities, procurement training sessions, and key contact referrals, this event has something for everyone.

During the morning, experts will help to demystify public procurement and provide suppliers, who have little or no experience in bidding for public sector contracts, with an opportunity to learn the routes to market and business support available to them.

Please Note: The breakout session will be bookable at registration, on a first come, first served basis. Spaces are limited, therefore only one person per organisation may attend the breakout session. 

Tea/Coffee

There will be free tea or coffee available at the event. The City of Edinburgh Council is committed to sustainability. Therefore, the Council kindly urge suppliers to bring along a reusable cup on the day, if possible. 

The Council will have compostable cups on hand on the day. However, there may not be enough for all attendees.
