£900m SPA Refurb and Modernisation Framework Opportunity Live

SPA has published its latest £900 million framework opportunity for Refurbishment and Modernisation (RM4S).

Running for an initial four years, RM4S may be extended for up to a further 24 months through two optional 12-month extensions. Deadline for submission of tenders is 12 noon on 11 December 2026.

RM4S covers ten workstreams, which include:

• Painting and decorating
• Electrical works
• Kitchen and bathrooms
• Aids and adaptations
• Damp and mould remediation
• Environmental and external works
• Stoneworks
• Reactive repairs and maintenance
• Multi-disciplinary
• Kitchen supply

Following engagement with suppliers and public sector partners, RM4S introduces four new workstreams: aids and adaptations, stonework, damp and mould remediation, and reactive repairs and maintenance.

The scope has also been updated to reflect changes in legislation and the evolving requirements of public sector organisations.

Places have been reserved for micro and small businesses, helping suppliers of different sizes compete for a place on the framework.
