Tenders Invited for Aberdeenshire Council’s Demolition Works Contract

Aberdeenshire Council is inviting suitable suppliers to tender for the demolition of the Willowbank Day Centre in Peterhead. As part of the works, the contractor will demolish existing buildings and remove asbestos containing materials.

The council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the demolition of existing buildings, sheds and portacabins, including the removal and disposal of materials off site, asbestos removal, and subsequent land restoration.

This is a time-critical project with a strict contract timeline. The successful contractor will need to communicate closely with the client throughout, and should be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering projects to tight deadlines.

The demolition areas include:

• Willowbank Day Centre
• Willowbank Hall
• Gardeners Cottage
• Furniture Workshop
• Pavilion Building

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), where interested parties can access additional information and express their interest.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Tuesday 18 August 2026 at 10.30am.
