Help Rehome Dogs Across Stirling Council & Partners!
Stirling Council, in collaboration with Falkirk Council, Clackmannanshire Council and Police Scotland is seeking dog kennelling service providers to bid for this two Lot contract.
Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, there is a statutory duty to collect, house and where possible, reunite stray dogs with their owners. After the 7-day period, efforts to rehome unclaimed dogs commences.
Stirling Council and partners is seeking suppliers which hold a valid licence under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963 and can:
- Assist both Councils and partners in fulfilling legal obligations
- Deliver the necessary kennelling facilities
- Ensure kennelling practices are compliant with licence conditions
This contract has been split into two Lots with these including:
Lot 1 – Stray Dog Kennelling Services (up to 7 days)
Lot 2 – Training, Rehabilitation and Rehoming
The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £345K.
The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Tuesday 2 June 2026 at 12pm.
