NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Engages Market on Condensate Recovery Improvement Project

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is looking to spread awareness on a potential future procurement opportunity to condensate recovery improvement works at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

The health board is considering a future procurement for condensate recovery improvement works at the Glasgow hospital.

The proposed works are expected to include:

• Replacement of condensate recovery units (CRUs)
• Steam trap replacement works
• Associated steam and condensate pipework modifications
• Mechanical installation, testing and commissioning activities within a live acute hospital environment

The requirement is expected to involve specialist steam and pressure systems expertise, including the management of planned shutdowns and integration with existing steam infrastructure.

A Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) where interested parties can access additional information and express their interest.
