Tenders are Invited for North Ayrshire Council's Building and Repair Works Framework

North Ayrshire Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors for the provision of a General Building and Repair Works Framework.

North Ayrshire Council is inviting tenders for a multi-lot framework agreement for the provision of building and repair works.

The lot structure will be as follows:

• Lot 1: Joinery - the estimated value of this lot is £70K.
• Lot 2: Door Entry - the estimated value of this lot is £180K.
• Lot 3: Electrical - the estimated value of this lot is £380K.
• Lot 4: Plumbing - the estimated value of this lot is £50K.
• Lot 5: Drainage - the estimated value of this lot is £750K.
• Lot 6: Plastering - the estimated value of this lot is £250K.
• Lot 7: Building - the estimated value of this lot is £980K.
• Lot 8: Roofing - the estimated value of this lot is £160K.
• Lot 9: Timber and Dampness - the estimated value of this lot is £360K.
• Lot 10: Fencing - the estimated value of this lot is £780K.

Bidders may submit tenders for a single lot or multiple lots. The framework will be ranked, and it is anticipated that up to 5 contractors will be appointed to each lot.

However, North Ayrshire Council reserves the right to appoint a greater number of contractors to any Lot at its sole discretion, where it deems this appropriate and beneficial to the operation of the framework.

There are no guaranteed volumes of business.

The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £3.96 million.

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), although interested parties will need to register with PCS-T to access additional information and express their interest.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Thursday 29 October 2026 at 12 noon.
