Carry Out Construction Works for West Dunbartonshire Council’s Public Realm Improvement Project

West Dunbartonshire Council is looking for an appropriately skilled supplier to conduct construction works for the Main Street and Mitchell Way Public Realm Improvement Project.

The Council is seeking to appoint a main construction contractor for the delivery of a series of public realm improvement works throughout Main Street and Mitchell Way in Alexandria.

The project contains a mix of soft and hard landscaping with civils work.

The Project is being procured on a two-stage Design and Construct basis.

• Stage 1: pre-construction services, including design development, buildability reviews, programme development, risk management, cost planning and supply chain engagement.
• Stage 2: execution of the construction works. Stage 2 is subject to separate agreement between the parties.

Appointment to Stage 1 will not confer any right or entitlement on the contractor to proceed to Stage 2.

The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £1.03 million.

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), although interested parties will need to register with PCS-T to access additional information and express their interest.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Tuesday 03 November 2026 at 12 noon.
