Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT)’s Transport Related Contracts DPS

Whilst this event is only open to the Bus, Coach and Taxi Operators that are presently awarded a place on the SPT Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), entry to this DPS is open to any new operator and details of this can be obtained by emailing procurement@spt.co.uk.

There are approximately 500 School Transport contracts of various sizes due to expire.

The main purpose of this event is to make Transport Operators aware of any changes affecting the process, will also cover the full tendering procedure in general and is specifically designed to provide advice and guidance on how to bid better and to avoid all the more common pitfalls. We will also detail how the tenders will be evaluated and ultimately awarded, and there will be an opportunity at the end to ask questions on any points you may be unsure of.

This event is being held prior to tenders being released and has seen a year on year improvement in the quality of bids being submitted and vastly reduced the errors being made. Attendance is therefore strongly recommended for those who are intending to bid for any of these contracts.

There will also be an opportunity for operators to ask questions during the live webinar.
