Upcoming Fire Fighting Equipment Contract with Dumfries and Galloway Council

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking qualified contractors for a future Contract Notice opportunity to carry out the servicing and maintenance of Handheld Fire Fighting Equipment within Dumfries and Galloway Council Public Buildings.

Such works required by the Council will include, Planned & Reactive maintenance works to Handheld Fire Fighting Equipment and be let on a semi comprehensive basis covering servicing of all Fire Extinguishers, Fire Blankets and any other equipment deemed included within this contract.

The works will be required planned and reactively across approximately 400 public buildings including:

• Council H.Qs
• Schools
• Offices
• Libraries
• Community Centres
• Day Care Centres
• Children’s Homes
• Sports Pavilions
• Stores
• Museums
• Recycling Centres
• Town Halls
• Special Needs Day Centres
• Cleansing Depots and Resource Centres

The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £100k.

The estimated date of publication of this contract notice is Monday 1 June 2026.
