Event booking

These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) set out additional terms and conditions that apply when you book a place at a Supplier Development Programme event or workshop. These Terms are supplemental to the main terms of use above and privacy policy for the Supplier Development Programme website.

Provision of events

Supplier Development Programme is an advice service provided in collaboration between Scottish Governemnt, Scottish Enterprise, and 30 local authorities in Scotland (acting both individually and jointly as members of Supplier Development Programme Ltd). In these Terms, we call these bodies and organisations “Delivery Partners”. Events under the “Supplier Development Porgramme (SDP)” banner may be organised by any Delivery Partner. The Delivery Partner or organiser will usually be displayed on the event webpage.

Booking and event delivery

By completing an online event booking you are indicating you will attend the relevant event and that you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

Places on events are booked on a first-come first-served basis. It is usually essential that all delegates pre-book places at an event. The Delivery Partner organising the event reserves the right to refuse access to anyone who has not pre-booked a place.

Group bookings are available for some events, but for other events there may be restrictions on the number of attendees that can attend from the same organisation. Full booking details can be found in the relevant event details web page.

If an event is fully subscribed, then you may be added to a waiting list for this event. In the event of a cancellation, the relevant Delivery Partner may contact you to tell you that a place has become available. If an event is showing as “Fully Booked” and you would like to be placed on the waiting list then please contact the Supplier Development Programme with your details.

The duration and location of the event will be specified in the event description for that event.

Privacy policy

By registering for an event run by the Supplier Development Programme you agree to the terms and conditions of the privacy policy.

Inclusion and equality

The Supplier Development Programme is committed to make every effort to ensure equality of access and to meet the needs of the target audience. If you have any specific needs, not covered in the event booking form, please contact us via email info@sdpscotland.co.uk

Event fees

All Supplier Development Programme Events are free. Where partner events are chargeable this will be clearly stated in the event listing.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend an event for any reason then please cancel via the link sent to you in the Event Confirmation email or by emailing info@sdpscotland.co.uk

Event cancellation

Occasionally an event may need to be cancelled or postponed. If a cancellation takes place, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify all customers who are booked on by telephone or email. Whilst we will attempt to minimise the impact of a cancelled event we accept no responsibility for costs or inconvenience incurred.

Changes to an event

It may also be necessary to change the content or speakers for an event. We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you of changes made to timing and venue. However you acknowledge and agree that SDP reserves the right to make changes to an event without notice.
