Meet the Buyer North is THE biggest procurement event of its kind in the North of Scotland, where buying teams from a range of public sector organisations, business support agencies and even private sector contractors can engage with potential suppliers.

Supported by the Scottish Government and hosted by the Supplier Development Programme, this event aims to make opportunities within the public and private sector supply chain, as well as business support, more accessible to businesses and third sector organisations, helping the businesses in the Highlands and Islands become ‘tender ready’

Unlike most exhibition events, the essence of exhibitions is to “meet the buyer” to promote your business’s goods, services and works in a unique “reverse expo” set up - i.e. the buyer hosts an exhibition space, and your business makes your way around to meet them face-to-face to introduce yourself and discuss upcoming opportunities.

If you are not a public sector buyer or a Tier 1 contractor, and you want to have a presence at the Meet the Buyer North 2025 event to raise your business’s profile to buyers and suppliers in attendance, you can take up a sponsorship opportunity or attend - for free - to “meet the buyer” on the day.
