About the Opportunity

Scottish Borders Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to bid for a place on its upcoming Care at Home Flexible Framework Agreement. 

The duration of the framework agreement will be 10 years with an estimated value of £76.5m.

The key messages we’re looking to cover in this session include:

• To ensure the long‑term financial sustainability of care at home provision for both the Council and providers.
• To strengthen collaboration, partnership working and continuous service improvement in line with the Council’s new Commissioning Strategy.
• To increase external provision of care at home services across the Scottish Borders.

During this online webinar, we will watch our expert walk you through the bidding process, using SBC’s tender documents for this Care at Home opportunity. We will demonstrate how to register and login to Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) , how to find the contract notice and express interest. We then follow the SBC buyer’s instructions verbatim, to access the tender documents and open all envelopes. We will spend time on questions that perhaps tripped bidders up in the past. We also demo the Q&A functionality and how to upload evidence and response documents. Essentially the aim is for you as a bidder, watch our trainer going through the tendering process as a supplier in real-time, to ensure that you know what your next step will be.
