During this webinar we will hear directly from the Renfrewshire Council colleagues that are looking to engage with local trades contractors, to supplement the in-house teams when demand exceeds capacity.
Renfrewshire Council is in the process of setting up a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Trades Contractors, to back-up the in-house resources. Currently the Council directly employs tradespeople through its Environment and Infrastructure Directorate, Facilities Management (Hard Services), to carry out maintenance and repair work. Most of the maintenance and repair works are demand driven so a constant workload is not guaranteed. Where workload exceeds in-house capacity, external contractors will be employed to supplement the in-house resource. This new Framework Agreement will also be available to Renfrewshire Leisure Limited and East Renfrewshire Council.
An example of the types of trades the council would like to engage with include:
- Electrical Contractors
- Joiner Contractors
- Plumbing Contractors
- Plastering and Ceramic Tiling Contractors
- Painting and Decorating Contractors
- Glazing Contractors
- Tile and Slate Roofing Contractors
- Flat Roofing Contractors
- Blacksmiths and Metal Fencing Contractors
- Suspended Ceiling Contractors
- Heating Engineers
- General Building Contractors
- Multi Trades Contractors
Agenda:
- Introduction and housekeeping from Supplier Development Programme
- Presentation from Renfrewshire Council colleagues
- KerriAnne Ben Ammar, Senior Procurement Specialist
- Sam Smith, Procurement Advisor
- Live Q&A
Please note this date is subject to change, depending on the publication date of the contract notice.
