Dundee City Council In-Person Training Session - 9:00am

Thursday 11 August 2022, 9:00-11:00am

DundeePartner Event

The Supplier Development Programme, in partnership with Scotland Excel, is hosting a series of supplier engagement events to provide support to micro and small businesses to ensure they are 'tender ready' when the Property, Maintenance and Refurbishment Framework goes live.

Aimed at micro and small businesses, but open to all, these sessions will give helpful information to help you bid better.

Do you own a business in Tayside? Dundee City Council is changing the way it procures services related to Repair, Maintenance and Refurbishment locally.

Dundee City Council, in partnership with Scotland Excel and the Supplier Development Programme, is hosting an in-person event to raise awareness and help give suppliers a better understanding of its upcoming Property Maintenance and Refurbishment Framework. The Council is looking for suppliers that can provide services to support the Lots of the Framework, which include Bathrooms, Electrical, Fencing and Gates, Flooring, Heating, Joinery, Kitchens, Painting & Decorating, Plastering and Ceramic Tiling Works, Plumbing, Renewables (Solar, PV, Heat Pumps), Roofing, Ventilation, Windows and Doors, and Multi-Trades within Dundee City Council and nationally across Scotland.

At this event, you will be able to talk to representatives from Dundee City Council and Scotland Excel about key points of the Framework, including insurance levels and proof, what a good or bad tender submission looks like, and the timeline of the framework.

This event is open to all SMEs, Supported Businesses, and Third Sector Organisations, but will be of particular interest to businesses based in the Tayside area.
