About the opportunity
South Ayrshire Council is seeking Funeral Directors to attend this supplier engagement session to learn about an upcoming opportunity to join the Masonhill Community Funeral Service Multi-Provider Framework Agreement.
The Council is looking to establish partnerships with Funeral Directors to deliver a low-cost, dignified and affordable funeral service through the Masonhill Community Funeral Service at Masonhill Crematorium in Ayr. All Funeral Directors who meet the specified requirements will be eligible for inclusion on the Framework Agreement.

work collaboratively with Funeral Director Partners to provide bereaved families across South Ayrshire with respectful, high-quality services at an affordable cost.
The opportunity is expected to be published on PCS-Tender during the week commencing 30 November 2026, with the Framework Agreement anticipated to commence on 1 April 2027, subject to confirmation at contract award.
