Fife Council seeks Feedback from Out-of-School Clubs for Children with Additional Support Needs

Fife Council LogoFife Council is seeking feedback from suitable suppliers for the provision of Out-of-School Clubs caring for young people who have Additional Support Needs (ASN). 

Out-of-school clubs must be able to provide services Monday to Friday from 2:45-6pm during term time, and from 8:30am-5pm during school holidays and in-service days.

Bidders must be able to provide a comprehensive range of health and medical services, that are registered and regulated by the Care Inspectorate, to support between 8 and 10 young people including:

  • Personal and intimate care
  • Moving and handling
  • Gastrostomy care
  • Administration of routine and emergency medication
  • Suctioning procedures

The approximate value of this contract excluding VAT is £1.28 million.

A Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been published on Public Contract Scotland (PCS), where additional information can be accessed and potential bidders can express their interest.

Fife Council’s Childcare Services Team invites potential providers to complete the Request for Information form attached to this PIN, and to submit it via email to katy.hope@fife.gov.uk by Monday16 February 2026.
