NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to Undertake Future Procurement for Sealing Equipment!

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) intend to undertake a future procurement for Automatic and Semi-Automatic Meal Container Sealing Machines and associated consumables to support NHSGGC’s Cook Freeze Production Units based at Royal Alexandra Hospital and Inverclyde Royal Hospital. 

NHSGGC is seeking to engage with the market to identify potential suppliers capable of providing sealing machines, compatible containers, and lidding film that fully integrate with existing food production, freezing, storage, and reheating processes. Solutions may include both capital purchase and lease-based models.

The estimated date of publication of this contract notice is Wednesday 12 August 2026.

A Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), where interested parties can gather additional information and express their interest. Dialogue will then be initiated by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde with the relevant parties noting interest.
