Scotland Excel is seeking suppliers for their Social Care Agency Workers Flexible Framework Agreement.

Scotland Excel has published a Prior Information Notice (PIN) on Public Contracts Scotland in relation to the renewal framework for Social Care Agency Workers for all 32 council areas in Scotland and Scotland Excel Associate members. Scotland excel

The framework is for the provision of social care agency workers on a temporary basis. The anticipated scope of the framework includes 3 lots, which includes but is not limited to Social Care, Professional and Ancillary job roles.

The contract is divided into 3 lots.

Lot No: 1 Care Roles

It is anticipated the scope of services covered under Lot 1 will include but not be limited to, a variety of social care roles, this includes:

  • Care Assistant
  • Housing Assistant
  • Senior Carer
  • Support Worker

Lot No: 2 Professional Roles

It is anticipated the scope of services covered under Lot 2 will include but not be limited to, a variety of social care roles, this includes:

  • Occupational Therapist
  • Social Work Assistant
  • Social Work Manager
  • Social Worker
  • Social Worker - Entry Level
  • Social Worker - Mental Health Officer

 Lot No: 3 Ancillary Roles

It is anticipated the scope of services covered under Lot 3 will include but not be limited to, a variety of social care roles, this includes:

  • Bus Escort
  • Cook
  • Domestic Assistant
  • Handyperson
  • Kitchen Assistant

Scotland Excel will also host supplier sessions via Microsoft Teams, which will be scheduled for the following dates: Friday 12 December 2025, Tuesday 16 December 2025, Tuesday 06 January 2026 and Thursday 08 January 2026.
