Scottish Government Seeking Suppliers for the Maintenance and Repair of Air Circuit Breakers

Scottish Government, acting through the Marine Directorate is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to provide services of maintenance and repair to air circuit breakers.

Specifically, the supplier will be required to:

• Provide maintenance to the Air Circuit Breaker (ACB)
• Conduct an annual health check of low voltage (LV) switchboards
• Undertake any ad-hoc repairs as required on board four Marine Directorate vessels: MPV Hirta, MPV Jura, MPV Minna and MRV Scotia.

The Marine Directorate require the supplier to provide annual maintenance activities for all vessel equipment as well as unplanned maintenance due to breakdown.

The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £600k.

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), where additional information can be accessed and interested parties can express their interest.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Monday 23 March 2026 at 12pm.
