SDP “Dovetails” Success with Social Enterprise

A Supported Business credits engagement with SDP for helping to win two public sector contracts in the Spring of 2019.
Dovetail is a Supported Business that manufactures certified internal fire doors as well as furniture and beds for the contract market.
This social enterprise is located in Dundee and has 52 employees. Dovetail was SDP's featured business for the month of June.
Supplier Development Programme Provides Free Training to South Lanarkshire Early Learning and Childcare Providers
In June and July 2019, more than 120 South Lanarkshire businesses were given vital support by South Lanarkshire Council, through the Supplier Development Programme, to make sure they are ready to tender to provide more free childcare places to local families.

As a registered partner of the Supplier Development Programme, Fife Council is committed to providing support to the local business community in the tendering process, ultimately supporting the economic growth for the area.
Through SDP, Fife Council provides support to Fife businesses by raising awareness of the opportunities for SMEs from the public sector, increasing business readiness to tender, and assisting SMEs in accessing tender opportunities.
