Help Zero Waste Scotland Combat Household Food Waste

Zero Waste Scotland LogoSDP is asking its Local Authority Partners to join Zero Waste Scotland for an idea generation workshop, to tackle Scotland’s food waste, on Tuesday 18 August, 9.30am at COSLA Conference Centre, Edinburgh.

Zero Waste Scotland, on behalf of the Scottish Government is on a mission to reduce household food waste and help shape the Household Intervention Plan (HHIP)

To shape the Plan, the Scottish Government is asking for ideas from people working in Scottish Local Authority Departments such as Waste and Recycling, Environment, Net Zero and Education.

The workshop will give stakeholders across the food system in Scotland the opportunity to discuss their opinions, suggest strategies and develop interventions to tackle the problem.
