Could you Help West Dunbartonshire Council Replace Balloch Castle’s Windows?

West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking submissions of interest from construction contractors who are suitably qualified to carry out the replacement of the windows in Balloch Castle.

The Council requires the replacement of the windows within the Category A listed building of Balloch Castle, as part of the Balloch Castle Window Replacement Project.

These works will consist of:

• Window refurbishment and replacement
• Rot works
• Structural works within the west elevation

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), although interested parties will need to register with PCS-T to access additional information and express their interest.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Friday 2 October 2026 at 12 noon.

The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £297k.
