Deliver Design and Building Activities for North Ayrshire Council!

North Ayrshire Council is seeking a suitable contractor to carry out design and building activities for a Flexible Advanced Industrial Unit under phase 2 of the investment by the Ayrshire Growth Deal and local regeneration fund in the i3 Business Park, Irvine.

Development of the industrial accommodation is being delivered on a phased basis, with Phase 1 already been successfully completed and brought into operational use. Phase 2, which this procurement relates to, will be built immediately north-west of Phase 1 and will use the experience and lessons learned from the first phase.

The contractor will be responsible for the:

• Development and completion of the design
• Execution and completion of the Works
• Coordination of all disciplines
• Subcontractors and specialist designers necessary to deliver the Works in full compliance with the Employer’s Requirements.

The total estimated value of this contract excluding VAT is £6.47 million.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Wednesday 1 July 2026 at 12pm.

A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland, although interested parties will need to register on PCS-Tender to be able to access additional information and express their interest.
