Help Scottish Government Shape the Next General Office Supplies Framework!

The Scottish Procurement and Property Directorate (SPPD) is the organisation tasked with procuring frameworks and contracts on behalf of Scottish public sector bodies. The current General Office Supplies Framework is due to expire on 30 June 2027. 

The Scottish Government is therefore seeking market engagement through a supplier questionnaire to help shape this future procurement strategy.

The supplier will be required to deliver a range of general office supplies, including:

• General office stationery
• Office paper
• Electronic office and media supplies
• Catering goods and consumables
• Janitorial and cleaning goods
• Hygiene and workplace safety
• Small office machines

The total estimated value of this contract over 4 years is £36 million.

The estimated date of publication of this contract notice is Monday 7 December 2026.

A Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), where interested parties can gather additional information, express their interest and fill out the Supplier Questionnaire which will be available until 11pm on Friday 3 July 2026.
