Provide Road Construction Materials to Fife Council
Fife Council is looking for suitably qualified suppliers to join a Framework Agreement for the supply, delivery and collection of roadstone materials.
Fife Council’s Roads Operations are responsible for the provision of a local transport strategy for Fife Council, which includes the construction and maintenance of carriageways and footways within Fife.
Roads Operations activities take place across Fife and cover a range of works, therefore access to a range of suppliers across Fife is critical.
The purpose of the tender is to meet all the requirements in the supply of road stone materials and other general quarry requirements, which includes aggregates, dry and coated materials, as well as ready mix concrete.
This framework is split into 4 Lots:
- Lot 1A - Type 1 Sub-Base Granular
- Lot 1B - Single Sized, Graded Roadstone & Concrete aggregates
- Lot 2 – Coated Roadstone
- Lot 3 – Ready Mix Concrete
Dry Materials (Series 800) and Aggregates (Series 500) shall comply with the Specification for Highway Works and British & European Standards
The envisaged maximum number of participants to this framework agreement is 12.
A contract notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), although interested parties will need to register with PCS-T to access additional information and express their interest.
The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is Monday 12 October 2026 at 12 noon.
The estimated total value of this contract excluding VAT is £12.8 million.
