The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) is working with NHS Greater Glasgow, and Clyde (NHSGGC) and NHSGGC Public Health, to help suppliers and Third Sector Organisations (TSOs) better understand how to use the NHS National Community Benefit Gateway (NCBG) portal for Glasgow.

Working alongside Glasgow Council for Voluntary services and Glasgow Social Enterprise Network and other TSI’s, we are delighted to invite you to participate in this survey to inform us on your awareness and use of the National Community Benefit Gateway portal and to inform you about future free training on how to write a compelling entry (bid) on the portal.

The NCBG web portal was developed and launched by NHS Scotland National Services (NSS) to link national NHS contracts to local community benefit needs.

We’d love to hear what you do or don’t know about the portal, so that we can offer feedback on awareness of NCBG.

SDP and NHSGGC want to encourage more SME suppliers to join its supply chain, by highlighting the wide range of opportunities tendered by the NHS, through training webinars and networking events that debunk the notion that the NHS only procures medical or pharmaceutical requirements.

About SDP

SDP is a business support initiative supported by Scottish Government, and Scottish local authorities, as well as other public and private sector organisations.

SDP helps businesses bid better when they have little or no experience tendering for public sector contracts, or are too small to have dedicated bid team.

Simply, SDP is a free service to support Scottish SMEs, supported businesses and third sector organisations become tender ready for contracts.
