The 12th Annual Meet the Buyer 2021 will take place as a live, virtual event on Tuesday, 8 June 2021, organised by the Supplier Development Programme. Headline partners include the Scottish Government and Scotland Excel.
Meet the Buyer 2021 is the event of the year for supplier engagement with buyers as the public sector turns towards economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Year on year, the Supplier Development Programme consistently facilitates suppliers with access to the public sector, and though this year’s virtual, Meet the Buyer 2021 will provide suppliers with the ability to raise their profile as a business, as well as learn more about and prepare for upcoming bidding and supply chain opportunities.
Businesses will be able to meet procurement teams from local councils, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, private contractors and business support organisations.
As the largest free procurement event in Scotland, the event affords suppliers unprecedented access to buyers and decision makers from across the Public and Private sector, with the opportunity to raise your profile as a business and prepare for upcoming contract opportunities.
There will also be a main agenda with three themes, where you can hear from a range of expert speakers and participate in live Question and Answer sessions.
