Scotland Excel to Publish Building Repair and Refurbishment Framework Opportunity!

Scotland Excel LogoScotland Excel has released a Prior Information Notice for a proposed framework for contractors to provide a range of repair, refurbishment, and maintenance services. Such services are envisaged to extend to extensive building repair and refurbishment.

The purpose of this notice is to enable interested parties to engage with Scotland Excel to discuss the services currently available in the marketplace and options regarding the structure of the procurement and the anticipated direction of future market development.

This framework is set to have multiple lots, with these being shaped by market engagement and will be confirmed within the final tender documents upon release of the contract notice.

Encouraging early engagement from suppliers, Alan Russell, Procurement Advisor at South Lanarkshire Council said he is “keen to encourage local businesses to get tender ready to bid for the up-and-coming Property Maintenance, Refurbishment and Extensive Renovation framework opportunity.”

He also added that, with the expected publication date of 22 July 2026, “it affords local businesses time to prepare and get tender ready” for the upcoming framework opportunity.

A Prior Information Notice has been published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), where interested parties can gather additional information and express their interest.

Suppliers are advised to direct any further queries to Scotland Excel.
